Tetrabenzyl thiuram disulfide. A fast curing primary or secondary accelerator in NR, SBR and NBR applications. Safer for processing than TMTD because it provides longer scorch times. Also used as a retarder in the vulcanization of PVC rubber. Developed to replace thiurams such as TMTD where the presence of nitrosamines is of concern.
