2. Aug 29, 2019. #1. When repairing the drive belt on this mower I took the transmission tension spring off, which I am now trying to put back on. The owners manual says that one end of the spring connects to one of the belt keepers and the other end connects to the back insert. The manual does not show the spring or how it connects.
