  • What is accelerator TETD?
  • Accelerator TETD is a very active, sulfur-bearing, non-discoloring rubber accelerator for use in natural and synthetic rubber systems. It can be used alone or combination with many other common rubber accelerators. TETD functions as a primary accelerator for cure systems requiring very low or no sulfur. It is cure modifier in W/G-type neoprenes.
  • What is a rubber accelerator?
  • rubber accelerator for synthetic rubber compounds. Chemindustries offers a full range of rubber accelerators to increase the speed of the vulcanization of rubber. We supply both primary and secondary accelerators that are suitable for both natural rubber and synthetic rubber compounds including NR, CR, SBR, NBR, BR, EPDM, and chlorobutyl rubber.
  • What types of rubber accelerators do you offer?
  • We supply both primary and secondary accelerators that are suitable for both for natural rubber and synthetic rubber compounds including NR, CR, SBR, NBR, BR, EPDM and chlorobutyl rubber. We offer a wide range of cure speeds from delayed action to ultra-accelerators. Please check a rubber accelerators list of products that we offer.
  • Is TDEC a good rubber accelerator?
  • Good dispersion: TDEC exhibits good dispersion in rubber compounds, ensuring uniform distribution throughout the mixture. Low toxicity: TDEC is considered to have relatively low toxicity compared to some other rubber accelerators, making it suitable for various applications.
  • Which accelerator is suitable for vulcanization of rubber?
  • Chemindustries offers full range of rubber accelerators to increase the speed of the vulcanization of rubber. • Do I need a fatty acid to use TETD?
  • Normally zinc oxide and a fatty acid are required when using TETD in a natural rubber application. Sulfur is not required, but is often used. TETD can be blended with TMTD to reduce the tendency of the compound to bloom while maintaining cure activity. Accelerator TETD is also available as Akroform® TETD-75.
